Qapline
Truck management.

01
INTRODUCTION
More efficient package shipments.
So that no truck returns empty. Empty trucks are inefficient, uneconomical and an unnecessary burden to the planet.
Qapline knows this well, so they distribute shipments among unoccupied transits. Together, we have created an application that streamlines distribution and automates processes so that Qapline services can be scaled. In the coming years, we plan to open the application as a marketplace for partner carriers.

MISSION
We have developed a desktop application for Qapline with which they can manage and distribute cargo among individual carriers.

OBSTACLES
What we've struggled with
01
Dozens of truck transports in one app
Thousands of trucks drive through European roads every day. In order to achieve the highest possible optimization of their workload, we needed to clearly display their status, location and free capacity.
02
Multilingualism
The application to some extent replaces the dispatcher, so we had to teach it to "talk", write emails respectively, and not only in Czech. As part of the acceleration, messages for drivers and dispatchers are generated automatically.
03
An app smarter than a dispatcher? Could it be?
The essence of the ERP system lies in the automation of as many processes as possible that make life easier, starting with the generated messages and ending with the design of suitable truck connections.
04
SOLUTION
How we’ve solved the problem
01
Clear arrangement, based on material design.
We chose this path because the design language is already invented, practical and allows scaling.
02
An application that communicates on behalf of the dispatcher.
We have connected Google Translate and translated the basic communication phrases thanks to which only a small part of the communication remains to be processed manually.
03
Nikdy nekončící vývoj.
We are gradually improving the application and preparing various extensions for it. For example, a map that visualizes planned routes and shows the location of different trucks or an improved route planner.

WHAT IS THE APP BASED ON
Tech background
01
AngularJS
Qapline runs using the JavaScript framework AngularJS.
02
Real time app and external APIs
Qapline's ERP system relies on an efficient, real-time flow of information and processes and several APIs.
