Petainer is a leader in innovative and sustainable PET packaging with more than 30 years of tradition. It focuses on reducing the ecological footprint and efficient logistics for beverages.
Petainer solved a fundamental problem — workers had to jump between three different internal systems on a daily basis, which unnecessarily lengthened work processes and increased the risk of errors. Our task was to create one comprehensive tool that would unify all key functions into one platform, simplify the user experience while optimizing the individual processes of the entire plant. Thus, the private system COALO — Customer Order And Logistics Order was created.

What have we solved in the system?
Clear transport planning
When you need to handle dozens of deliveries a day, you need to keep track of them. That's why Petainer manages the entire delivery lifecycle in bespoke ERP, from ordering, requesting and tendering of the carrier to loading and unloading time. Thanks to this, it is possible to accurately measure how efficiently orders are delivered to customers and thus evaluate individual logistics partners.
Click-to-click administration
A number of documents and labels are inherent in the transport. Therefore, thanks to a customized ERP, Petainer automatically generates a CMR document. They may also deposit customs and other related documents for individual contracts.
Where what's going on
Part of the ERP system is detailed planning of the preparation of goods for individual ramps as well as the organization of the loads themselves according to precisely defined time windows. Thus, employees always have a clear overview of the priorities when preparing goods for shipment — not only for the current day, but also for the next shift. Of course, the system is linked to individual orders, but it allows you to insert, for example, service notes.
One step ahead
The system automatically notifies of all public holidays in the countries through which the traffic passes, already when planning the route. Thanks to this, Petainer can provide the customer with an accurate and relevant delivery date for the goods.
